Jour 1 : Départ de Londres - Arrivée à Nairobi

Accueil à l'arrivée à l'aéroport international Jomo Kenyatta par notre représentant et transfert à l'hôtel Panafric pour la nuit en chambre d'hôtes

Jour 2 : Nairobi - Réserve de Samburu (320km - Approx. 5-6hrs de route)

L'hôtel Panafric vous accueille à l'aéroport Jomo Kenatta par notre représentant et vous transfère à l'hôtel Panafric pour une nuit avec petit déjeuner.

Samburu Sopa Lodge.

C'est une région où les populations locales ont un patrimoine riche et coloré. La réserve possède une faune abondante qui comprend des léopards, des hippopotames, des éléphants, des lions, des zèbres grevy et des crocodiles dans la rivière Ewaso Nyiro. Plus de 365 espèces d'oiseaux ont été identifiées dans la réserve.

Jour 3 : Réserve de Samburu - Journée complète de safaris

. Passez toute la journée à explorer le parc avec une visite optionnelle du village de Samburu pour un supplément de 20 USD par personne plus tard dans la journée.
Samburu abrite un tiers des espèces de girafes du Kenya, dont la rare girafe réticulée (que l'on ne trouve que dans les parcs du Nord). C'est également ici que l'on peut observer l'autruche somalienne à pattes bleues, les zèbres de Grévy, la gazelle Gerenuk à long cou et l'antilope Beisa Oryx à cornes droites.
La région de Samburu est l'une des plus importantes du Kenya.

Jour 4 : Réserve de Samburu - Parc national du lac Nakuru (250 km - Environ 4-5 h de route)

Jour 5 : Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Game Reserve (300 km - Environ 6 heures de route)
. Jour 6 : Réserve de chasse de Maasai Mara - Journée entière de safaris
. Jour 7 : Réserve de chasse de Maasai Mara - Nairobi (260 km - Environ 5-6 h de route)

Après le petit-déjeuner, vous quittez le lodge pour Nairobi où vous arrivez dans l'après-midi. Vous serez déposé à l'hôtel Panafric pour la nuit.

Jour 8 : Dépose à l'aéroport
La journée se termine à l'aéroport.
Petit déjeuner à l'hôtel. Journée libre et shopping de dernière minute. Plus tard, transfert à l'aéroport pour votre vol international de départ.

Cette journée marque la fin d'un safari plein de souvenirs inoubliables.

Visa

Most nationalities do now require a visa for Kenya, including Britons, most EU nationals, Australians, New Zealanders, Americans, and Canadians. At present single entry and transit visas are available online (see below) and soon all visas will have to be obtained online. Alternatively, visas are available in advance or on arrival. The Kenyan government is planning for all visas to be obtained online and may stop delivering visas on arrival on short notice. For the latest information please contact your local Kenyan High Commission or Consulate. The cost of the visa is US$50 for a single entry visa and US$100 for an East Africa visa (valid to travel in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda – if the website still says coming soon please check with the Kenyan High Commission. You will need to first register to the e-citizens website (including needing a photo 500px x 500px) before you can start applying. For the application process itself, you will need details of the accommodation used (which we will send you) and itinerary as well as a photo 5.5cm x 5.5cm and a scanned or photographed copy of your passport’s bio/photo page. If after visiting Kenya you will also travel to Uganda and Rwanda, you may apply for East African Visa that will cover all three countries. This visa is currently available upon arrival in Nairobi. Please contact the Kenyan High Commission to obtain more information about the combined visa from Kenya.

Vaccinations

There are no mandatory vaccination requirements. Recommended vaccinations are: Polio, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Typhoid, Hepatitis A. Malaria prophylaxis is essential and we suggest that you seek advice from your GP or travel health clinic about which malaria tablets to take. Dengue fever is a known risk in places visited. It is a tropical viral disease spread by daytime biting mosquitoes. There is currently no vaccine or prophylaxis available for Dengue, and therefore the best form of prevention is to avoid being bitten. We recommend you take the usual precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
